The mission of all children and student ministries at Allen Bible Church is rooted in this simple statement:
Partnering with parents as they give spiritual leadership to their children.
All aspects of Allen Bible children's ministry strive to provide a secure, loving environment on Sunday mornings where children learn about God as their heavenly Father, the Bible as His eternal Word, Jesus as His gift for life and salvation, and steps to grow by the power of His Spirit.
We also strive to provide parents with encouragement and resources for teaching their children the same principles at home, and to celebrate with parents as their children develop and mature in the Lord.
abc KIDS (infant - pre-k)
All abcKIDS classes, infants through pre-K, are offered during both gatherings, 9:00 and 10:30. You’ll find the following environments and support staff:
- Welcome Desk (where visiting families sign-in their kids)
- Navigators (pre-K)*
*Beginning at pre-K, children begin in the auditorium with their parents until they are dismissed to their class. All children younger than pre-K are welcomed in their classes 15 minutes before each gathering (at 8:45 and 10:15).
abc KIDS life (k-4th)
At this stage, teachers interact and instruct the children in both a large group and grade-level small groups where an emphasis on discipleship is beginning to take shape.
All children participating in abcKIDSlife begin in the auditorium with their parents until they are dismissed to their classes. All classes from kindergarten through 4th grade will be offered and identical both hours, 9:00 and 10:30.
abc 56 (5th & 6th)
All those participating in abc56 begin in the auditorium with their parents until they are dismissed to their classes.
